Buildings & Grounds
Statement of Purpose The purpose of this committee is to support on-going maintenance
and improvements to the school building and grounds. This includes inspection
of the facility to identify needed repairs and improvements as well as
coordination of related projects. The committee is also a source of assistance
for the custodial staff.
Responsibilities
1. To make bi-annual (Summer and Winter) inspections of
the building and grounds and report recommendations for repairs/improvements
to the Association and the custodial staff.
2. To coordinate crews for special projects (e.g. painting,
annual clean-up day, etc.)
3. To create a list of on-going cleaning/maintenance
projects, establish frequency needs, and ensure that the work is completed
on a regular basis (e.g., dusting, entry ways, stairwells).
4. To communicate regularly with the custodian regarding
maintenance needs.
