Catholic Schools Week 2021

This week, from January 31 through February 6, Stella Maris Academy is celebrating National Catholic Schools Week. All three campuses across the city of Duluth – St. James, St. John’s and Holy Rosary – will be buzzing with activities, prayer, and fun every day of the week to celebrate and recognize Catholic school education. Every day features a different theme that inspires creativity, learning, appreciation for community, and hope in the students.

On Monday, February 1, Students will be sporting their favorite sports jerseys and hats while special virtual guests, Champ and a UMD athletics coach, will appear to greet the students as we celebrate Saint Sebastian, patron saint of athletes. On Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Holy Rosary campus, students get to watch a fun activity “Pie the Priest” with school priests Fr. Seth Gogelin and Father Rich Kunst, at 1 pm. Many other small events and activities are happening throughout the week, celebrations have been made appropriate to COVID protocols.
